We’re here with the head of this particular project who’s going to aid and assist the planting of the seeds within the rockwool cube. What we’ve done so far is buffered a stock solution of nutrients. We’ve put approximately 5 litres of water in a bucket, we’ve then added Grow A and Grow B in equal proportions, some Roots Excelurator, we’ve got the CF to 12 and then we’ve buffered the pH down to 5.5 to take into account the alkalinity of the rockwool cube. We’ve then got the rockwool cube and basically popped them in. Now, if you were a puritan, a true hydroponicist you
would allow those to soak overnight to let the chlorine rise out of the water, however, I’ve been told that London doesn’t have chlorine anymore, it has fluoride or something to that effect,
anyway, the long and short of it is that you don’t have to be that puritanical. Wait until the rockwool’s soaked all the way down to the bottom, when it has soaked down to the bottom you
